Brokeback Mountain actor Randy Quaid is suing the producers of the Oscar-winning film, claiming they are guilty of "money laundering." In a recently-filed lawsuit, Quaid alleges producers falsely presented Brokeback Mountain to him as "a low-budget, art house film, with no prospect of making any money," and consequently says he worked for less money than he normally would. The lawsuit also says director Ang Lee told Quaid, "We can't pay anything, we have very little money, everyone is making a sacrifice to make this film," in a discussion in 2004. Quaid is seeking more than $10 million in compensation and punitive damages.
