It's official (I think) - Jake Gyllenhaal will play Lance Armstrong in the upcoming biopic about the cyclist. The New York Daily News is reporting that Armstrong told sources at ESPN that Matthew McConaughey had been a contender for the role, but lost out to Gyllenhaal. "He said that's why he has been spending so much time with them both this summer," said the source.
