"Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment center in America for his dependency on prescription drugs," the singer's rep said in a statement released today. "There will be no further comment on this matter." A former girlfriend of the British singer was recently quoted admitting Williams used antidepressants. "It was clear he was struggling with his mind," Williams's one-time galpal told a British paper. "He doesn't drink, but he needs antidepressants to get him through the day.
