Chad Lowe is reportedly furious with ex-wife Hilary Swank's recent public outing of his substance abuse problem. Swank admitted her former husband's drug problem was the catalyst for the end of their marriage in the August issue of Vanity Fair. "Chad was pretty surprised that Hilary would bring [his problem] into the equation," a source told a US magazine. Swank lawyers say the Oscar winner warned Lowe that she planned to be honest about the breakup of their marriage. "Chad has been sober for three years," another source says. "He isn't ashamed of his struggle, but he really wishes Hilary wouldn't have talked publicly now."
