Britney Spears in Sex And The City!

It is a rumor in the tinsel town of Hollywood that the Sex and The City Lead Actress and producer, Sarah Jessica Parker is keen to cast Britney Spears in the Sex and The City movie sequel. Sarah Jessica Parker has a feeling that the singer would prove to be perfect in the sequel. Britney Spears, who has also appeared on CBS' stunt casting-crazed How I Met Your Mother last year, would be playing a young relative of Sarah's character, Carrie Bradshaw. Sarah Jessica Parker had told friends that: “My idea is to have someone like Britney Spears move to New York as my cousin or niece and Carrie would show her the ropes.”

As far as Britney Spears is concerned she was seven years ago cast in the chick flick crossroads, when she was only 20. Crossroads was written by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes and was one of the worst movies of all time. Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are all expected to join Sarah Jessica in the SATC sequel, which we're guessing Britney won't be in.
